We're Putting the Band Back Together & We're On a Mission From God!
You can be the backbone. The nerve centre of a great rhythm and blues band.
You can, make that live, breath and jump again. or if you prefer you could always play as Murph and the Magic tones?
We got everybody but Matt guitar Murphy and Blue Lou and we're getting them next.
We need;
a) musicians to help form a new band,
or,
b) an established complete band who wouldn't mind joining us & having “Jake & Elwood” fronting from time to time.
WE ALSO REQUIRE A NEW “ELWOOD”
So if you want to be a part of our backing band or being the next Elwood J Bluze, then contact us for an audition.
We still need the following musicians
- Lead Guitar
- Bass Guitar
- Trumpet & sax player
- Keyboard or synth player.
NOTE, you must have your own instruments & relevant PA equipment
You should be familiar with music from both Blues Brothers films
& music from the Stax Records & Atlantic era
Musicians / band from the Stoke On Trent / Staffordshire area preferred
If you want to be the new “Elwood” : Experience not necessary as we will train a suitable person if required. Must be reliable, able to sing in the Blues Brothers style & willing to sing to backing tracks with a view to singing with a live band.
All you need is a singing voice & a black suit if you have one!
Experience playing the harmonica is preferred but not essential.
Ideally based around the Stoke On Trent / Staffordshire area.
